The double-sided label is different from the double-sided label printed on the adhesive. It refers to multiple printing on the transparent film to achieve the purpose of being a double-sided label in appearance. There are two common printing methods.

â‘ Multiple ink printing. First, print reverse graphics on the transparent film material (OPP, PET) in reverse color order, and then print white ink on the surface of the graphics to cover the graphics. Print pictures on the surface of white ink in the normal color sequence. In order to protect the ink, the film coating process is adopted last. After the label is die-cut and discharged, a double-sided label is formed.

Multi-layer ink printing is suitable for rotary printing machine, using uv ink printing. Due to the large number of printing colors, it is often necessary to complete two printings (such as a six-color printing machine, which prints twelve colors twice). For example, on a platform labeling machine equipped with a UV rotary screen printing device, double-sided labels can be printed at one time.

â‘¡Paper-plastic composite printing. The printing principle is the same as above. The difference is that instead of printing white ink on the reverse printed graphics, the white paper is covered with ink using the lamination principle. Then print on paper to complete double-sided printing. The paper-plastic composite printing method can be performed on various label machines, such as two batches of processing on an intermittent small label machine.

Reverse label is a special case of double-sided label, that is, after printing reverse graphics on the film, only white ink or white paper is printed, and no longer printed. Double-sided labels can be processed on the label machine in the form of rolls, and can also be processed on a single sheet. The common method is screen printing.

Double-sided labels are used on transparent bottles or glass, such as cosmetic bottles, and labels on windows in car cabs.
