Ireland launches new materials for high barrier packaging

The FAULKNER export packaging company in Dublin, Ireland, recently introduced a new multi-model high barrier packaging material and a re-sealable pouch made of this material. 

The new high-barrier packaging material adopts advanced layer composite technology and has multiple types of composite forms, which are composed of two layers, three layers and four layers of different materials, such as mPET/PE, PET/aluminum foil/concave, and PET. / Aluminum foil / nylon / PE and other types of composite. 

Faulkner's bags made from this high-barrier composite can be filled from the top or bottom, depending on the user's needs. Both ends of the bag are provided with easy-to-open slits. Under it is a recloseable zipper opening. The first time opening, it can be easily torn open by the setting of the gap, and some contents can be removed at any time through the zipper, and then can be sealed again. 

This new high-barrier composite packaging material has excellent printability and is suitable for monochrome to four-color flexographic printing.

The multi-type high barrier packaging materials introduced by Faulkner Export Packaging Co., Ltd. are mainly developed for the biomedical industry. It is mainly used for packaging microtiter volume multi-cavity assay preparation plates, but these series of multi-model new materials can also be widely used in other fields requiring high barrier performance packaging materials.
