Binder shell finishing process offset printing, screen printing, hot stamping, embossing and die cutting, etc., are generally printed on the cover of related content, such as the company logo or other important graphic information. In general, the structure, material, and decoration of the binder housing need to be determined based on the number, content, and cost requirements of the customer's bound leaflet.

(2) Select the hoop shape

The shape of the hoop directly affects the use effect of the loose-leaf products. There are three kinds of rings, the straight D-ring and the oblique D-ring, as shown in Figure 4. Among them, the diameter of the ring and the straight D ring is 1/2 to 3 inches, and the diameter of the oblique D ring is 3/4 to 4 inches. Rings and straight D-rings are suitable for most loose-leaf products. They are easy to use and durable, as shown in Figure 5. Skew D rings are suitable for leaflet binding with index tabs. In contrast, diagonal D ring binders are easier to read and inquire due to index tabs, and the loose-leaf pages are not easily damaged, and the loose-leaf capacity is large and it is more convenient to add or delete. The ring binder is generally riveted and the hoop frame is fixed at the back of the shell. Therefore, rivets will be exposed at the back of this type of binder. For the sake of beauty, circular blind rivets can be used; the riveting positions of the straight D ring and the oblique D ring are set at the back cover, and the rivet penetrates the back cover, as shown in FIG. 6 .

(3) Choose a hoop frame that matches the finished product

The capacity of the hoop on the leaflet is related to the diameter, and the diameter of the hoop is to match the number and thickness of the bound pages. If the diameter is too large or too small, the page will be damaged. In addition, try to use high-quality hoop frame, if the material is not good, its opening and closing performance will be greatly reduced, easily lead to poor reading, or even tear inside pages.

(4) Select the hole

There are two kinds of loose-leaf binding holes, oval holes and round holes. If the number of inner pages is large, it is recommended to use an oval hole.
