Plastic bottles should be colorless

Researchers at the Goethe University in Germany recently discovered that the widely used plastic bottled mineral water is not safe because the estrogen chemicals contained in the plastic bottle will permeate the water in the bottle and cause harm to the human body after drinking.

Dong Jinshi, deputy director of the International Food Packaging Association, said that in order to increase the transparency of the bottle, a plastic bottle called BPA is now added to the plastic bottle. This substance may be the “culprit” of estrogen penetration.

However, from the existing experimental data, this hazard is extremely weak, and citizens do not have to panic. Dong Jinshi said that whether it is bottled water or milk bottles, the selection of such plastic bottles should be colorless, rather than blindly seeking transparency.
