When using the taro method, it's important to avoid leaving any starch residue on the wood or the carvings. After cleaning, make sure the wardrobe is completely dry and brushed thoroughly with a brown brush to remove any remaining particles. This prevents dust buildup and potential infestations.
Once the cleaning process is complete, the final step is dry grinding. For different types of wood such as red sandalwood, huanghuali, red rosewood, and even purple rosewood, it’s recommended to use tools made from the same material and with similar hardness. As you rub the surface, friction creates heat that helps release the wood's natural oils, making it look more vibrant and polished.
