Seven or eight years ago, our factory discovered advanced barrel making processes such as automatic edge positioning resistance contact welding and triple round crimping from the packaging steel drums of imported chemical products. Through the relevant departments to obtain a number of round-side barrels in the Netherlands, Italy and Japan, only anatomical analysis, to do a general technical understanding. With the deepening of China's economic reforms and the deepening of the policy of opening up and invigorating, foreign trade has developed rapidly. In order to adapt to the export of commodities, especially the requirements for the export of some dangerous goods for chemical packaging, under the promotion of the national packaging inspection, some domestic barrel factories have begun trial production of triple round rolled steel barrels in 1985. The State Administration of Commodity Inspection began preparations for the implementation of the International Maritime Dangerous Regulations 90 years ago. The situation is compelling, and it is imperative to produce triple round rolled steel drums. Since then, our factory has started the development of triple round rolled steel drums. The realization of the mass production of round curling barrels has basically gone through three stages. The specific situation is briefly described as follows:
First, research and exploration, preliminary trial stage.
In the two months from May to June of 1985, our factory set up a research team composed of engineering and technical personnel and experienced workers, and began to research and explore the three round round barrels. They started from the anatomical analysis of foreign round-edged barrels, which involved the dimensions of the various parts of the top and bottom of the barrel, and the process dimensions of the pre-crimping; the size of the barrel edge; the geometric curve of the crimping machine rim and the crimping wheel Technical data such as dimensions. Despite the arduous research and exploration, due to the limitations of our understanding at that time and the constraints of equipment conditions, the shape of the curling was very unsatisfactory, and the curling layer was insufficient. Through preliminary attempts, we have made it clear that the processing of triple round beading must be carried out with reliable process equipment and prompt us to work harder to get the introduction of the ongoing barrel making equipment.
Second, continuous testing, continuous understanding, and gradually master the development stage of technology.
In July 1985, our factory sent staff to visit the Japanese delegation with the petrochemical head office, visited the 8,000-generation barrel factory and the Maeda production center in Japan, and discussed the production process of the round curl with Japanese engineering and technical personnel. I learned that the Japanese barrel industry introduced the patent rights of the Dutch Wanli company, and it has received great inspiration and benefited a lot.
Between July and August of 1986, our factory used the opportunity of introducing barreling equipment to go abroad to look at the order and sent people to the United States, to the Netherlands in the United States Wanli branch, as well as Ivans, Cui La barrel factory and The barrel factory, such as the Rim factory, focused on and studied the manufacturing technology of the round-side barrel, which made us more thoroughly understand the key points of the process technology. Through the study and study abroad, several factories of our petrochemical system have mastered the manufacturing process of triple round rolled steel drums to varying degrees. On this basis, the petrochemical system's Coopers Technology Coordination Group conducted three rounds of testing in our factory in the four months after November, 1986. Our factory has made the following changes to the equipment and process:
(1) Change the stamping size of the top and bottom of the bucket, and crimp the bottom of the bucket on the C630 lathe;
(2) The size of the barrel edge is changed so that the size of the top and bottom can be properly adjusted during the crimping process;
(3) The curve of the feeding cam of the curling machine roller was changed, and the geometry of the curling roller and the size of the curling support steel ring were also changed accordingly. Thanks to the joint efforts of the six petrochemical systems, the ideal triple-rolled steel drum was finally made. The company provided timely data to the US factory that made the barreling equipment for our factory, which created conditions for the mass production of round roll barrels. Our factory noticed that due to the poor precision of the edge-trimming machine and the crimping machine of our factory, the curling edge is not very uniform. Therefore, after the equipment to be introduced is put into production, the triple round side barrels will be officially produced to ensure the stable processing quality.
Third, after trial production, a small amount of production to the initial stage of mass production.
In mid-August of August, after the introduction of equipment to the factory, we timely seized the commodity inspection, inventory, installation and processing of domestic supporting equipment, and all work was ready in October. In January and August, the US engineering and technical personnel arrived at the factory and were very satisfied with the work of our factory. After the organization operator is familiar with the performance of the equipment, the trial production of the triple round side barrel is started. In less than a week, a very satisfactory triple round rolled steel drum was produced on the imported equipment. There were no leaks after repeated drop tests and hydraulic tests. In order to be cautious, our factory has made a part of the barrel in small batches, and sent it to the user together with the product description and solicitation of opinions, so that the user can verify it. After receiving praise and praise from users, the three-round round-side steel drums began to be mass-produced in April, and nearly 100,000 have been produced so far, without any quality accidents. Initially reached a more mature stage.
Fourth, some experience in the work:
1. In order to obtain a very satisfactory triple rounded edge, the quality of the process before the crimping process is very important, such as the stamping size of the top of the barrel, the size and shape of the pre-rolled edge, and the size and uniformity of the barrel edge. According to the experience of domestic and foreign manufacturers, it is advisable to test the angle of the cut one to two times a day.
