Let the furniture design be pure and pure

Before I talk about this topic, I want to introduce myself first. I am not a graduate of the class, just a "grassroot designer" who likes to design. Because of the like, the dream of design is step by step on the road of design. Being able to enter the design industry and then run a design company is hard-won for me. I am full of gratitude for this.

In many years of experience and practice, I have been thinking about what kind of design is a good design, what responsibility should the design bear, and finally I found that the idea itself is wrong. Because design is not good or bad, it is not omnipotent. What we can do is to make the design pure and pure, and don't let the design interfere with what is unnecessary.

Design is not a panacea <br> <br> a table, a sofa, could have been a very ordinary objects, because the design and personality have attracted people's attention. The design gives the soul of the product, and as a designer who gives the soul of the product, it is also respected by people.

Just like when we are young, we think that "100,000 why" is omnipotent. Many companies regard design as omnipotent. Obviously, this is a big misunderstanding of the company's design. The success of a product requires a lot of efforts. The production, marketing, and after-sales are equally important. Although the design has its wonderful features, it is only a icing on the cake, and the design is regarded as the lifeline of the enterprise, which is to push the design to the altar.

In fact, the most important thing that affects a product is not the design, but the philosophy and culture behind the company. The establishment of corporate culture and branding can not be completed overnight. It takes a long process for brands to enter the hearts of consumers. For companies, selling products is only an early stage, and selling culture is an advanced stage. The key to corporate marketing is to show consumers their corporate culture by selling products, and then let consumers like this culture. In this process, design is only an intermediary, its value is to inject the culture and ideas of the company into the product, and complete the finishing touch.

This story tells us that design is not good or bad. The appreciation of a design that is not available to most designers of the same generation does not mean that the designer is worse than the other designers of the same generation. Every designer's life and experience are different, and the understanding of design is different. The design is not good or bad. A successful designer is only because his design captures the hearts of consumers, and causes consumers to resonate with them and get the recognition of consumers. This does not mean that his design itself is stronger than others' designs.

Similarly, design is borderless. Whether it is a distinguished and elegant European and American design style, or a restrained and nostalgic Chinese design style, it has its own unique and desirable side. In recent years, Chinese design and world design exchanges have become more and more close. Chinese designers often go to the Milan Furniture Fair in Italy or the American High Furniture Fair to learn and communicate. Foreign designers are also increasingly participating in furniture fairs held in China. And design exhibition, exchange ideas with designers in China. Through exchanges, both sides were inspired and broadened their design ideas.

At present, China's furniture design circle is a very good family. Everyone respects design and values ​​design, and the atmosphere is very good. I also like to be friends with other designers. They are successful or unsuccessful, just because the opportunities are different. All designers who love design are worthy of respect.
