Red Star Macalline plans to list domestically in the year or go to Hong Kong H shares for listing next year
Red Star Macalline is preparing to list in China this year and may be listed in Hong Kong (H shares) next year. Chen Peng, general manager of Red Star Macalline Group Development Center, said at the 7th Retailer Conference that it is reported that in 2008, Red Star Macalline completed its first private placement.
In 2010, Red Star Macalline received from the capital market including the world's leading private equity fund Huaping Investment Group, China's largest RMB fund CITIC [Introduction] industry fund, China's largest integrated private enterprise Fosun Group and China A RMB fund, such as the Bohai Industry Fund, supported a huge amount of RMB 2.6 billion. This also makes Red Star Macalline the total financing size of about 3.8 billion yuan.
The capital advantage of Red Star Macalline after the capital injection is more obvious. The newly injected 2.6 billion yuan will be used for the construction of new shopping malls. By 2010, there will be 83 stores in 60 cities with sales of 43 billion. By the end of March 28 this year, the 100th store has been opened, and the number of shopping malls nationwide will reach 200 in 2020.
