What are the requirements of the IAAF for the grassroots field?
The IAAF attaches great importance to the grassroots construction of the track and field venues. It was mentioned in the document that the use period of such venues should exceed 2 to 3 times the surface of synthetic materials. In other words, this site foundation should last for 25 to 30 years.
The IAAF proposes that the foundation of any runway should be designed according to the following criteria:

5. It should ensure that either rain or natural groundwater can be properly removed and discharged into the lower soil or into the drainage system.
6. It must ensure that there is no standing water after the maximum possible rainfall, so as not to affect the use.
7. It should ensure that the above criteria are applied throughout the installation process.
8. It should be the most economical in terms of initial construction expenditures and subsequent maintenance costs.
The IAAF clearly pointed out “.......Remember that the construction of structures and differences in requirements and the construction of high standards of surrounding roads are very important.
