**Detection Range:** 7 ng/L to 240 ng/L
**Purpose of Use:** This kit is designed for the quantitative determination of Substance P (SP) in human serum, plasma, and other related liquid samples.
**Experimental Principle:** The kit employs a double-antibody sandwich ELISA method to detect the concentration of SP in the sample. A microplate is pre-coated with purified anti-human SP antibodies to form a solid-phase antibody. After adding the sample, SP present in the sample binds to the immobilized antibodies. Subsequently, an HRP-labeled anti-SP antibody is added, forming a complex of antibody-antigen-enzyme-labeled antibody. Following thorough washing to remove unbound components, TMB substrate is introduced. Under the catalytic action of HRP, TMB turns blue, and then changes to yellow upon addition of the stop solution. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the amount of SP in the sample. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader, and the SP concentration is calculated based on a standard curve.
