Container packing operation procedure

First, the packing operation of the carton

1. Precautions for Carton Packing Operations Cartons are the most common type of packaging used in container cargo and are generally used to package finer and lighter cargoes.

(1) If the container contains a large-sized carton of a uniform size, a gap will occur. When the gap is about 10cm, generally do not need to fix the goods, but when the gap is large, it needs to be fixed according to the specific circumstances of the goods;

(2) If the cartons of different sizes are mixed, the size of the cartons should be properly matched to achieve close stacking;

(3) Carton boxes should be separated by a ticket. Papers, nets, plywood, electric pallets, and other materials may be used for ticket slips. Marks such as chalk and tape may also be used.

(4) When the cartons are not enough to fill a container, the stacking height of the cartons should be noted to meet the requirement for the bottom of the container to be full.

2. Carton loading and fixing operations

(1) Packing is to be installed from the box or from both sides to the middle;

(2) When a gap of 250-300cm is generated in the horizontal direction, the weight of the upper cargo can be used to press the lower cargo, and the uppermost cargo must be jammed or fixed;

(3) If the loaded cartons are heavy, proper lining is required in the middle layer of the container;

(4) When there is a large gap at the end of the box door, it is necessary to use a square wood strip to fix the cargo;

(5) When loading small cartons, vertical stacking can be used to prevent collapse.

Second, wooden box cargo packing operation

There are a wide variety of wooden boxes and they vary in size and weight. The problems to be noted when loading and fixing wooden boxes are:

(1) When loading relatively heavy small wooden boxes, caulking can be used to make the upper wooden box pressed against the joints of the lower two wooden boxes. The uppermost layer must be fixed or plugged;

(2) When loading a small wooden box, if there is a large gap at the end of the box, it must be fixed or fastened with planks and wooden strips;

(3) When heavy and large wooden boxes with a low center of gravity can only be installed one floor and can not fully utilize the bottom area of the container, they should be installed in the center of the container, and the bottom must be fixed with a square wood strip transversely;

(4) For a wooden box with a high center of gravity, it is not enough to fasten the bottom of the wooden box; it must also be secured with a wooden strip;

(5) When loading large heavy-duty wooden boxes, concentrated loads or eccentric loads are often formed. Therefore, special fixed facilities must be provided to prevent the cargo from contacting the front and rear end walls of the containers.

(6) When loading box boxes, it is common to use steel belts for tensioning, or to use elastic nylon belts or cloth belts instead of steel belts.

Third, the cargo loading operation

Cargo board is usually loaded with cartons and bags. Carton goods can be fixed between the upper and lower layers by sticking. After the bag is loaded, the size of the bag is required to be the same as the size of the pallet, and for the more slippery bags, the sticking method is used. The issues that should be noticed when the pallets are loaded and fixed are:

(1) If the size of the pallets can only be installed transversely within the container, the cargo must be placed in the centre of the container and secured with longitudinal padding;

(2) When loading more than two layers of cargo, no matter if the gap is in the horizontal or vertical direction, the bottom is fixed with a file, and the cargo on the upper deck needs to be tightly closed with a cross-bar;

(3) If the number of pallets is odd, the last pallet should be placed in the center and tightened with ropes through the ties;

(4) When the pallet goods are loaded into the frame container, the weight of the container must be balanced before and after. After loading, the straps shall be used to tighten the goods. After the goods are loaded, the containers shall be covered with canvas or plastic film.

(5) Bags of pallets should be matched with pallets of different sizes according to the size of the bags to fully utilize the volume of the containers.

Fourth, packing goods packing operation

   Bale goods include pulp, board paper, wool, cotton, fabrics, other cotton fabrics, textiles, textile products, and used materials. Its average weight and volume per piece are often larger than cartons and small wooden boxes. General bales are loaded with groceries. Problems that should be noticed when bales are loaded and fixed:

(1) Bales can generally be loaded horizontally or vertically. In this case, container containers can be fully utilized;

(2) When packing or loading, it is generally necessary to use a thick wood board for padding;

(3) Bales packed in coarse cloth are generally stable and need not be fixed. Fifth, bagging cargo packaging operation bag types are sacks, cloth bags, plastic bags, etc., the main loading of goods are food, coffee, cocoa, waste, cement, powdered chemicals and so on. Generally, the moisture resistance and moisture resistance of the bag packaging material are weak, so after the boxing is completed, it is better to lay a plastic waterproof cover on the top of the goods.

The questions to be noted when loading and fixing bagged goods are:

(1) bags are generally easy to collapse and slip, can be used adhesive cement, or in the middle of the bag insert liner and slip coarse paper;

(2) The bag is generally convex in the middle, and the commonly used stacking methods include wall-laying and cross-bracing.

(3) To prevent the risk of collapse due to excessively high bagged load, it is necessary to fix it with a tie

V. Packing operations for bagged goods

The types of bag packaging include sacks, cloth bags, plastic bags, etc. The main loading goods are grain, coffee, cocoa, waste, cement, powdered chemicals and the like. Generally, the moisture resistance and moisture resistance of the bag packaging material are weak, so after the boxing is completed, it is better to lay a plastic waterproof cover on the top of the goods.

The questions to be noted when loading and fixing bagged goods are:

(1) bagged goods are generally easy to collapse and slide, can be cemented with adhesives, or insert liners and skid-resistant coarse paper in the middle of bagged goods;

(2) The bag is generally convex in the middle, and the commonly used method of stacking is wall-laying and cross-bracing.

(3) To prevent the risk of collapse due to over-loading of bagged cargo, it is necessary to fix it with tie-in appliances.

Operation of rolls, coils, wire ropes, cables, coils and other reel goods, plastic film, tar paper, cylinders and other roller goods, as well as tires, tile tubes, etc. are rolling goods. When rolling cargo containers, it is necessary to pay attention to eliminate the rolling characteristics, so that effective and reasonable loading.

1. Roll paper goods loading and fixing operations.

Roll paper goods should, in principle, be installed vertically and should ensure that the cross sections at both ends of the paper roll are not defaced. As long as several rolls of paper near the box door are bundled with steel strips on the inside, and the space at the door entrance is filled with fillers, the goods can be secured.

2. Disk element loading and fixing operations.

The disk element is a heavy cargo that can only be loaded mechanically. Generally, only one layer can be installed at the bottom of the tank. It is best to use a well-shaped disk tray. The large-scale disk element can also be fixed at the bottom of the container box with a straight board, clamps, and the like.

3. Cable loading and fixing operations.

The cable is transported around the cable tray. Attention should also be paid to the local strength of the bottom of the cable tray when loading the cable tray. Large cable drums can only be installed in a container. Generally, brackets are used to prevent rolling.

4. Coil loading and fixing operations.

Although steel coils are also concentrated load cargoes, hot rolled coil steels are generally lighter than cables. When loading coiled steel, it must be tightly attached to each other and installed in the center of the container. For coils with a weight of about 3 tons, steel cords or steel belts should be used to connect the steel coils, except that steel cords or steel belts are used to fasten the steel coils through the inner ring of the box; for coils with a weight of about 5 tons It should also be fixed with square wooden strips. Steel ropes are usually used instead of steel strips because they are easily broken.

5. Cylinder loading and fixing operations.

Small tires for ordinary trucks can be installed vertically. It is relatively stable when mounted horizontally and does not need to be specifically fixed. Large-size tires are generally erected. The loading method should be studied and fixed according to the diameter and thickness of the tire.
