UPVC plastic pipe technology developed successfully

UPVC fully plastic pipe instead of cast iron pipe, concrete pipe drilling technology, a few days ago in Baotou Steel Institute of Geological Survey and Mapping successfully developed. China's first full-scale 240-meter-wide plastic well has been put into production at Inner Mongolia Huazhang Paper Group. The water output meets the requirements of users and the water quality meets the national drinking water standards.
Before this, in the western part of China, the wells were drilled and the well pipes were cast iron and concrete pipes. Due to high corrosion of salt, alkalis, etc., silt, dust, etc., the water wells have a short service life or poor water quality and cannot be used as drinking water.
In order to solve the problem of drilling wells in the west, Baosteel Geotechnical Investigation Institute, Jilin University and the China Institute of Hydrogeology and Environment jointly developed and “remedy for remedying the disease”. After meeting the technical requirements of wells, it has undergone multiple tensile and resistance tests. Pressure test, and finally the use of plastic anti-corrosion UPVC pipe success.
According to experts, this new technology fundamentally solves the corrosion problem, improves water quality, prolongs the service life of wells, and saves users a lot of money.
