Xante Unveils Platemaking System for Small Printing Houses
Xante recently introduced Platemaker5, a prepress system that can produce polyester plates, films and proofs for small commercial printing plants. The company believes this new system is ideal for printers that require low-cost, high-quality chemical-free CTP systems.
It is said that this prepress system, driven by Xante's patented technology, can improve the image quality and registration of dual-format printing plates.
Robert C Ross, president and CEO of Xante said: "Twelve years ago, we developed electrophotographic technology and improved the performance of the Platemaker 5 system. With the help of the core Z-7 technology and Z-Dot technology, , Platemaker5 has created its own market."
It is said that Z-7 technology can provide a series of effective tools for Xante CTP products to ensure that they produce clean plates, clear images, and high resolution and register accuracy.
The innovative Z-Dot technology can effectively control the dot enlargement, which can make the output quality of the plate more stable.
