A high-performance, functional plastic film material that can effectively protect home appliances, automobiles, building materials, etc. from erosion, pollution, and scratches, and has no residue, no transfer, and no pollution in the production process. It has recently been developed by the Changchun Institute of Chemical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The research and development has been successful and pilot and pilot production have been completed. Recently, this achievement passed the expert appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province. The Expert Committee believes that the performance of this new type of plastic film material can reach the advanced level of similar foreign products and can completely replace imported products.

The general-purpose polymer functional film material is a new high-tech field with high added value. At present, China can produce a large number of film products are relatively simple, homogeneous agricultural film and packaging film, those high-grade functional composite film mostly from imports. Under the support of the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province in 2003, the Changchun Institute of Chemical Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences undertook the “Research and Development of High Performance and Functional Plastic Film Materials” as a key project of the Provincial Science and Technology Development Plan. After nearly two years of hard work, they adopted a three-layer or multi-layer melt coextrusion blowing green manufacturing process, which has solved the viscosity of the inner layer of the protective film and the adhesive strength between the protected bodies; adhesive resin Without being transferred to the body to be protected, no residue remains on the surface to be protected after the protective film is torn off; during the process of blowing the film, the film bubble can still be separated after being clamped by the clip, so that the continuity of the production is not critical. Technology has successfully developed high-performance, low-cost, three-class film products including protective films, packaging films, and adhesive films. Its mechanical properties, water vapor barrier properties, oxygen barrier properties, etc. have reached the advanced level of similar foreign products. In order to realize the industrialization of the film products as soon as possible, they also successfully developed process technologies and methods that are compatible with the composition of the materials, and conducted pilot tests at industrial production facilities of more than 10 large-scale enterprises in Jiangsu, Beijing, Anhui, and Zhejiang. And trial production, the resulting membrane performance fully meets the requirements of use.
