Amcor PET Packaging supplies AmGuard multilayer preforms for 500 ml brown PET bottles from Holsten Pilsner. The preforms are produced at the Amcoros European Multi-Layer Centre in Brecht, Belgium, which incorporates the co.os Bind-Ox multi-layer active barrier technology. Bind-Ox increases the shelf life by at least 6 months by preventing the product from oxygen intrusion. The lid uses a plastic lid provided by Bericap with an oxygen scavenger.
The bottle features a new eight-foot base, which combines the sleek style of the Champagne bottle holder with the structural strength of the petal-like base. This structure maintains the shape of the beer bottle while providing the strength and stability required for filling and storage.
