1. "Printing Technology"

In 1956, when the Beijing Institute of Printing Technology was established, it actively initiated the establishment of publications. In 1957, "Printing" magazine met with everyone in the printing industry.

The journal published 57 issues from its inception in 1957 to 1966. During this period, the Beijing Institute of Printing Technology was established. The magazine was still in the initial stage. In addition, the political and economic situation of the country changed greatly during the period from 1958 to 1961, so the periodical publication was very unstable. 5. "Print Today"

"Print Today" was formerly known as "Printing Machinery" and was sponsored by Beijing Institute of Printing Machinery, Ministry of Machinery Industry, and was founded in 1983. It started as an internal release and was renamed "Print Today" in 1988 and published. At the time of its inception, it reported on the scientific and technological information of the printing machinery manufacturing industry for the purposes of its publication. After its name was changed to “Today's Printing”, it expanded its readership, publishing articles on printing machinery as well as printing process technology. 6. "Printing Standardization"

The publication is headed by the Press and Publications Administration and sponsored by the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee. It has been renamed "Printing Standardization" since January 1993, and it has been published for publication in the country. 1. Publishing in the fifties

In the early 1950s, soon after the Printing Authority of the General Administration of Printing was established, he began to compile professional books for printing. After the establishment of the Beijing Institute of Printing Technology in 1956, the compilation and publication of book materials was placed in an important position. A library of books was set up. On the one hand, printed books and periodicals ordered abroad were collected. On the one hand, they were referenced and used for reference. Foreign books data organization compilation. At that time, the printing industry did not have its own publishing company. Apart from some short-form information published in the "Printing" magazine or some loose-leaf materials, the compiled manuscripts were either published by the Commercial Press or published by the Light Industry Press. After 1959, it focused on organizing the translation and publication of a full set of "Russian printing industry process specification." By the time the Institute was suspended in 1969, a total of more than 100 print professional books were published, most of which were translated by the Soviet Union.

2. Printing Industry Press

After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh CPC Central Committee, people's thoughts began to be liberated from the imprisonment of the "Cultural Revolution" and printing began to flourish. In order to satisfy the desire of many printers to learn printing technology, and to rely on science and technology to revitalize the printing industry, in April 1978, the China Institute of Printing Science and Technology decided to establish a book compiling room in the institute and engage in the editing of printed professional books. The edited manuscript was submitted to the Light Industry Press and published by Xinhua Bookstore. In the process of publishing books with the Light Industry Press, the Book Compilation Room has improved its editorial business on the one hand, and on the other hand, it has learned the experience of publishing and proofreading from the Light Industry Press. In February 1981, with the approval of the State Publishing Bureau, the Printing Compilation Room of the China Printing Science and Technology Research Institute published the printed professional books in the name of Printing Industry Press, which was issued by Xinhua Bookstore. This is the first professional publisher in China's history of printing that has published specialized books for printing and printing.
